Privacy Notice

Updated: 9 October 2026. This notice describes the initial Yaar Dosti website. It is a casual friendship quiz, and no public account registration is required.

Information used by the game

We store the creator’s chosen name, ten questions, their two options and correct choices, quiz identifiers, and creation time. When a friend completes a quiz, we store their chosen name, score and submission time. Submitted answer choices are processed to calculate the score; the application does not retain the individual answer array.

If you email support, your email address, message and any details you choose to send are used to handle your request. The support mailbox provider also processes that correspondence. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Who can see your information

Anyone with the public quiz link can see the creator’s name, questions and options. The answer key is kept on the server. The creator can see friends’ names and scores through a separate private results link. The website administrator can see stored quizzes and attempts. Names are not verified identities. Use a nickname and avoid personal, confidential or sensitive details.

Private links

The private creator link grants access to the results. Anyone who receives it can view those results. Save it securely and share only the public play link. There is no email recovery because the game does not ask for an email address.

Technical information and storage

The application counts page-visit events by day, not verified unique people. It uses short-lived keyed network-address identifiers for abuse prevention without storing raw addresses in the application database. Hosting infrastructure may separately process IP addresses and technical logs. Sound preference is stored on your device. The private administrator area uses an essential session cookie.

Advertising

This initial version has no active third-party advertising script. An advertisement label is a reserved space, not an active ad. If an ad network is activated, this notice and any required consent controls must first be updated to explain that provider’s processing. We do not claim that future advertising is data-free.

Retention and requests

Quiz records, scores and request-deduplication records remain until removed by the website operator. Expired abuse-prevention identifiers are cleaned during subsequent requests; idle-site cleanup depends on hosting maintenance. You may contact the operator about access, removal or reporting a quiz. The operator may need to establish that you are entitled to the requested information, and backups or hosting logs may follow separate retention schedules.

Keep the game appropriate

Do not enter another person’s contact information, passwords, financial details, health information or other sensitive data. Questions should be about harmless preferences. The game is entertainment and cannot establish whether someone is a trustworthy friend.
